New publication introducing a unique linked database in Multiple Sclerosis

GIPAM, in close collaboration with the University-affiliated IPAM institute, has exclusive access to a unique and, at least in Europe, unparalleled dataset in multiple sclerosis. Together with the ZKN institute at the University of Dresden and the German sickness fund AOK PLUS it generated a data set that links claims data since 2010 for more than 500 patients with all their relevant clinical MS data (medical record data); that even includes selected patient reported outcomes. The dataset addresses the typical weaknesses of claims-only or EMR-only database studies as it provides the best of both worlds.
