Junior Research Consultant

  • As a Junior Research Consultant at GIPAM, you will be pivotal in conducting real-world evidence studies. This includes handling retrospective and prospective data, encompassing clinical and observational studies, and utilizing existing data specifically gathered for research objectives. Your primary responsibilities will involve:​

    - Day-to-day project management​

    - Data collection and analysis​

    - Systematic literature reviews​

    - Report and presentation writing​

    - Client communication​

    We seek proactive candidates with a strong work ethic who can work independently and effectively contribute to our team's success.

  • - Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Demographics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.​

    - Experience: Prior work experience in a similar industry or consulting environment is preferred but not required.​

    Technical Expertise:​

    - Demonstrated experience in quantitative methods within health economics, health service research, epidemiology, or statistics, focusing on data analysis using observational data.​

    - Familiarity with the general health organization in Germany/Europe is an advantage.​

    - Knowledge of scientific research methods and practical research implementation.​

    - Proficiency in spoken and written English.​

    - Experience with MS Excel and statistical programs (e.g., Stata, R).

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues, identify cause-effect relationships, and generate effective solutions.​

    Learning Agility: Quick learner who can apply new information, skills, and procedures effectively.​

    Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and proficiency in producing documents, reports, protocols, and emails tailored to the audience's needs.​

    Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analyses using tools like Stata or R, and understand data management tasks such as patient selection, variable creation, and analytical dataset creation.​

    Project Management: Develop project deliverables to near completion, pending final approval by senior staff.​

    Organizational Skills: Strong time-management, prioritization, and decision-making skills to accomplish multiple goals timely. ​

    Interpersonal Skills: Solid communication and interpersonal abilities to develop and sustain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.

Senior Research Consultant

  • As a Senior Research Consultant at GIPAM, you will lead and manage complex real-world evidence studies. This includes overseeing retrospective and prospective data, managing clinical and observational studies, and utilizing existing data specifically gathered for research objectives. Your primary responsibilities will involve:​

    - Leading day-to-day project management​

    - Designing and implementing data collection and analysis strategies​

    - Authoring and overseeing the creation of reports and presentations​

    - Directing client communication and consultation​

    - Mentoring junior staff and guiding project teams​

    We seek experienced candidates with strong leadership qualities, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to work independently while steering project teams toward success.

  • Education, Professional Skills & Experience

    Education: Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Demographics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.​

    Experience: Significant experience in a similar industry or consulting environment, preferably with a track record of successful project management.​

    Technical Expertise:​

    - Extensive experience in quantitative methods within health economics, health service research, epidemiology, or statistics, with a focus on data analysis using observational data.​

    - Deep understanding of the general health organization in Germany/Europe.​

    - Advanced knowledge of scientific research methods and practical research implementation.​

    - Fluency in spoken and written English, with additional languages being a plus.​

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues, identify cause-effect relationships, and generate strategic solutions.​

    Leadership and Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop junior consultants.​

    Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills in English and proficiency in producing and overseeing the creation of high-quality documents, reports, protocols, and emails tailored to various audiences.​

    Advanced Statistical Analysis: Expertise in designing and performing complex statistical analyses using tools like.​

    Project Management: Capability to develop and drive project deliverables to completion, ensuring alignment with client and company objectives, and experience in authoring abstracts and manuscripts as a lead or senior author.​

    Organizational Skills: Exceptional time-management, prioritization, and decision-making skills to manage multiple complex projects, with a proactive and resilient approach to tasks, including the ability to adapt to process, project, budget, or client changes. ​

    Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to cultivate and sustain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
